I get a very narrow window to mount some birds on the weekend between hunting season and kids spring sports. Started a big dead mount of 11 birds from 2014 trip.

For those on here into taxidermy- try out the new Shane smith bodies. They eliminate the need for firm modification. I ordered a mixed bunch of sizes and used the redhead for the surf and flying woodie for the Harli.

Back split surf.

Do you sleep? Between a business, hunting, managing a ranch and a family, not to mention this art work, you can't have much time to smell the roses.

Looking good btw. Keep posting the pics.

Work hard!! Play harder!!!!!!!! Occasionally I do feel like the Tasmanian devil – completely mowing the roses down instead of stopping and smelling them.....

That hobby has suffered lately but I'm hoping to get out with the boys and dig a day or two during spring break.

We went once while at the lease. 3 heart breakers is all we could find. The two on the left have been declared Bonham bird points 400-700 years old. I am not completely sold on Bonham for the middle one though. Look at the bifurcated, perdinales like base. I have not seen any references to a bifurcated base on any Bonham. So the jury panel has declared Bonham but I am hesitant.
