Got invited to do some Puxatony Phil Popping (Groundhog) this spring/summer in Illinois. Perfect excuse to do a rifle build.
Will keep you updated on developments and hopefully get out in the field when they come out of hiding.

They are fun to hunt, and actually good to eat. We used to get quite a few when we lived in Michigan

I've seen videos of people shooting them and looks like they were instantly turned into chilli meat. Pretty much pulverized them.
