Looks like a good setup to me! Make sure that you wear a good gun belt. It makes a lot of difference on how the gun carries.

Just curious, but whats the difference in a gun belt vs a regular belt? Once my wife gets un-pregnant, we plan to get our chl.

Gun belts are stiffer and more rigid. Regular belts will start to sag and will get deformed. If you take a regular belt that you wear daily and lay it out flat you will see what I mean about getting deformed and sagging. Gun belts do not do this because they are designed to give better support and support the extra weight.

Yep, just got this belt, I love this thing. It is night and day from carrying with a non gun belt.

I wear a Wilderness tactical instructor 5 stitch gun belt. Awesome belt! I have worn this belt daily carrying or not for about 6 years with no sagging or deformation at all. Just recently purchased a new one because the velcro was worn out.

I wear a 5.11 gunbelt. Only 5.11 product I own, but its great. Nylon with a kydex insert (I think) velcro buckle.

I highly recommend a long tail undershirt tucked in with a rigid outer shell/shirt for the best comfort and concealment.

My favorite outer shells are these:

That's a fine EDC setup. I would suggest you also carry flashlight somewhere on your person. I carry a little Streamlight Protac 2L thats 260lumen and small enough to clip inside a pocket. You'll use it more often than you think.

I made fun of my cousin for having a flashlight clipped on his pocket. He said try it, you will use it all the time. I bought a little Streamlight (uses 1 AAA battery), and he was more than right. I use it way more than the knife I carry daily.

Seems like a good idea. I will definitely look into this Thanks!
