Those bases look huge. Do they taste much different than your typical beef? I would imagine a bit of a game taste but other than that...?

I have never seen a Watusi taken before. Is this a tough hunt?

Those look like a watusi/longhorn cross. That seems pretty popular (my wife wants one for a pet!)

Great eating. Pretty much like lean beef (which they are beef). Used cuts of mine exactly like I would use a steer.

May sound stupid but I have no idea but what is the difference between one of those and a cow? They look very similar

A Watusi is a cow, it is from Africa. I see them roaming around in Nigeria when I am there.

30 yrs ago the Nunley/Briscoe Ranch Gerts (Santa Getrudes cattle) were wild devils that would stomp a mudhole in yer ace easy...
we loaded them in double-deck cattle trailers...
wild as deer..
Watusi, like the Cape Buffalo are bovines...
