Finally got my rifle finished. It's definitely been a long wait, but I feel it'll be worth it. I'm not disclosing who built it for me, as he only builds for himself, family and close friends and has asked me to keep him nameless. 7mm WSM Trued Remington 700 action Brux #5 - 1:8 twist with dimpled fluting and 5/8-24 thread Manners MCS-EH4 CF elite hunter stock DBM mini chassis 5 rd mag (have spare 7rd mag also) NF ATACR F1 5-25x56 NF 20moa base and rings Cerecoted action/barrel Can is a silencerco Harvestor 30 Suppressor cover from Huntersteve, and I realize I put it on incorrectly, but works awesome.

Very nice. That fluting is really cool.

Lots of good parts coming together. What bullet are you going to load in it?

Thanks yall.
Fireman, I have 4 boxes of the Berger 180gr. VLD Hunting bullets. Just need to work up a load for it. So far I only have about 30 rounds down range of some off the shelf Federals, but I've already started prepping some cases. Hopefully this week i'll have a few loads worked up to try out.

Exact bullet I run in my 7 Rem Mag. I'd like to see what velocity you get out of it with the WSM.
They are hard hitting, wind cutting, killing machines! Great rifle, great scope, great bullet. That is going to be a pleasure to shoot. Your 600 yards will be most folks 200 yards. My brain is programmed for 6.5 Creedmoor, I always have to remind myself to not hold as much wind when I'm shooting the 180 gr sevens.

I'm really looking forward to what it can do. The guy that made me what the WSM is running the same bullet and although I don't know what his velocity is, I have his load data to try to start with.

I have to do the same when I pull out the 300 Ultra Mag with the 230 Berger Hybrids. They drift alot less then my 3006 does.

I finally got around to weighing the rifle. Empty rifle with no silencer and no mag, it came it at 10 lbs 7 oz. Not too shabby with almost a 2.5 lb scope.
