I started messing with my receiver and the battle worn look, its looking ok after a few different steps but I cant get pics to load on here for some reason.

Use the fifth icon over with the blue arrow pointing up. Browse to image and click it. Then click attach file. Once it's attached click save all. Then post it.

Based on the pic, I think you went too heavy on the silver. But its a great start, and cool technique.

Are you using a dry-brush technique? Or spray and wash off? Im throwing the kitchen sink at it and seeing what looks good. Mostly spray and wash plus sanding. I think im going to get my other one media blasted or order some raw aluminum parts.
