I am concerned that I may have burst my buddy's balloon last night and this morning.

I'm stumped, but I'm also the guy to short a deer a year before I give him a month.

He showed up this morning and my buddy passed on him. Yes - we are MLD3.

Looks like a rutted down buck in the top pic but think he still looks 3/middle aged. In the bottom pic is hard to tell much with him standing facing towards the camera but he still looks more 3.

Thanks. The white eyes are atypical for our deer and his antler mass is excellent if he is on the younger side. The more I thought about the more I started second guessing. Got my confidence back and maybe my buddy made the right call holding off after all.

He looks awfully bulky for a rutted down deer in that first photo. His skinny neck is a mismatch for the big body.
