THF... I have a Remington 760 Gamemaster Pump in 30.06 for sale. I've owned it for 20 years and I bought it used. I had a reputable gunsmith put a scope mount on it. I put a BEC (CHEEP!) rubber-armored 3-9x40 on it. It has the plain stock, not checkered. It has some slight scuffs in the wood an one on the side of the receiver. Probably from a barbed wire fence I crossed.
It's not a sub-moa gun, it's not tacticool, it's not TiNi or cerakoted, it's not going to impress ANYONE at the range. It doesn't have a superb trigger, it doesn't have brilliant optics, it doesn't have a flash suppressor and the barrel is not threaded. It doesn't have a bipod or a sling and not a lick of Picatinny rail!
If what you want is a 30 caliber gun that will shoot every time, delivers horrifying terminal ballistics, will feed any old ammo off the shelf from 150 gr to 185 gr, as durable and forgiving as an AK and will put 10 out of 10 into a paper plate at 50, 100, 200 yards... then this is your gun.
It has killed everything I've ever pointed it at. I have taken 15-20 white tails and four pigs with it. I shot a big raccoon out of a tree top with it and I even shot a wild turkey in the neck with it one year.
This is a carbine length 30.06... so this thing looks like a flamethrower if you fire it after dark. I think that one or two of the animals I've killed with this little gun actually died from the muzzle blast but there is no way to verify that now.
I'm in San Diego all week and can't post pictures from here. I can get pics up or texted to you when I get back. I'm in Abilene but I travel all over and if we make a deal I bet we can figure out how to get together.
Hit me up... let's make a deal.
