So in October some of us ventured off to colorado to find some elk.... We found them but they knew the texans were around and keep there distance...

I made it up there in September for my first elk experience. We hunted 8 days on public land and had a blast. Was lucky enough to arrow this bull on the final day at 14 yds.

Thanks for posting these pics, makes me homesick for Colorado I lived on the western front range for 14 years and hunted CO for about 20. Nice bull, an archery elk is a real accomplishment!
