How long has the Ruger Precision been out? It made the list. Impressive.

It's hard to believe that a rifle that was introduced so late in the year could beat out every other rifle besides the 700. Perhaps they extrapolated monthly sales figures out to 12 months.

Yea, I also doubt the Mini-14 beat out all AR15s. Since there are so many different brands/variants it wasn't lumped into same category.

I find it very hard to believe that more Colt Pythons were sold than Ruger Blackhawks. I'm not saying that it didn't happen, but I'd scrutinize that one very carefully.

We need to keep in mind that this "report" is from the records that GunBroker kept for the year. Doesn't mean that their records reflect the gun industry's sales as a whole. The report is interesting, but not necessarily indicative of what the buying public, as a whole, purchased. I, for instance, did not buy a single firearm from GunBroker during 2015, but I did purchase several firearms during the year; I see some of them on the "GunBroker List," but I don't see them all.
