I think that's the same outfit that makes Remington .22 rimfire ammo.

That's part of a series of old works commissioned by Field & Stream. Very entertaining stuff.

I wondered where it came from.

I figured they changed their name from Lesters to Rio Ammunition. I swear Rio shot shells are half blanks.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I've forgotten their name but the poster was done by a small husband-wife company, they were a customer a few years ago. They stopped doing outdoors/hunting posters due to lack of sales and moved to another subject.

Toxarch, Rio shotgun shells are very good and have gained a good following among target shooters. I can't speak for anything else they make.

Some buddies and I tried Rios around 15 years ago on a dove hunt. We all came to the conclusion that they were complete garbage. Most of us questioned if they even had any shot in them. Luckily I had brought some Remington ammo as well so the day ended much better. I decided then that I would never shoot that Rio junk again.

Well I finally have an explanation as to why I miss so many doves. For a long time I thought it was me, but guess it's the ammo.
