I decided to go ahead and purchas the springfield XDS .45 3.3 today, thought it would make for a good conceal carry for a reasonable price. Anyone have any thoughts on this firearm? good or bad?? I haven't fired it yet, but looking to by weeks end some time.

I had one and really liked it. It got stolen and replaced it with the 4.0 Never had any issues and it shot well. I'll probably get another 3.3 sometime. Very comfortable to carry with the IWB Winthrop holsters I have for both.

I enjoyed the 3.3" in 45acp. Sold it and got the 9mm 4". They offer a 4" in 45acp. After shooting both, I'll stick with the 9mm for now.

I had one. It was a good shooter! I ended up trading it for something I'll use more.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Love mine. Very accurate and easy to carry. Only downside is I always feel the need to carry and extra a mag with it.

I carry the same pistol every day I am off duty. Holsters perfect in an FFR OWB holster (THF member "East") it shoots reliably, and the recoil is not noticed. Of course I've been shooting a .45 ACP weekly for 15 years, so I don't know any different.

I like mine, put a set of night sights on it.
Carry my shield more lately, seems a tad thinner.

Both really good guns

I bought one, and a 9mm at the same time.
both are too heavy for me to carry, but I have got rid of both already.

Took both to FGC, for a quick range session.

The 9mm, snappier than the 45, I liked the 45 very much, recoil was less, i like the heavier hitting bullet.

BUT, ammo is expensive, and I just decided to keep everything 9mm.

If I did get a 45 range and cerry gun, they would be XDm 45 SC and XDs 45.

I liked it that much.

Another "LIKE" here for the XDs 3.3 .45acp.
It works with any/all of my reloads.
Go for it and enjoy.
