Last year my dad and brother were out rattlesnake hunting when they came up on a couple baby pigs. My brother was 14 at the time and decided he was going to chase them down and take them home. And he did. They are so spoiled and well fed! Well, he was wearing his GoPro at the time and caught the chase on video. Just thought ya'll might enjoy!

That was great, thanks for sharing. The wife and I had a few little ones on the run a few weeks back, we gave up after a minute.

This is great! I have told my old man that should we ever find tiny piglets, I am raisin' em up as pets. He is sincerely hoping that we don't Thanks for sharing, that isn't something you see everyday. How long did it take them to tame?

Not long at all to tame them. They kept them in the garage in a dog kennel for a little while until they got the pig pen built. It got to where every time someone would go out in the garage, they would cry until they got some attention. They named them Ham and Bacon.

can you keep us updated with videos
I shoot pigs and enjoy eating them
but those pets you have are adorable bunch... I used to have pigs when I was little.... and I would try to ride one of the big females .... it didnt' last very long with her slippery short hair

Ham and Bacon, that's funny. Sounds like they're pretty good pets! Thanks again for sharing. I'm looking forward to more videos of them too.

There was an incident a few months back where the neighbors dogs broke into the fence and their pig pen and were attacking them. My dad jumped in the pen with a stick to fight them off until the Sherriff was called out. Dad had to tend to a few wounds on each of them and I think that kinda aided to the bonding and taming the pigs. Animal Control took the dogs for a few days then returned them to their owners. The neighbor made a sincere apology and there have been no issues since.

We tried that once. After 2 days of non stop squealing, we gave them away. The lady we gave them to did eventually tame them. We lots interest quickly.

It's a good thing the mamma sow was no where near by the little ones when the catching began. She would have eat them two boys alive. When I was a teenager (several centuries ago) I had a domestic momma sow put me over a 5 foot fence in just a few seconds. Unbeknownst to me she had little ones close by. I can still hear her JAWS POPPING!!!.

My son raised seven from little stripers like those were. One of them never forgot he was wild. He had to be persuaded to not bite each time you went into the pen. The rest of them got to be pretty tame. Cool video !
