I have been using my buddies fox pro electronic call this year. Its worked great. Going to purchase my own. Been looking at the primos options also. Any input on which ones are better?

I would vote for FoxPro. I have a buddy that ran a Primos for right at a year---and it just completely quit on him---nothing !! Wouldn't turn on. The Primos customer service folks were less than eager to get him back up and running. FoxPro customer service is second to none !! My 2 cents worth.

Fox Pro definitely. What price range are you looking at? I love my Shockwave. The Fusion is good as well but doesn't have a 1/4-20 mounting option for tripod use.

I would like to stay under or around 400 but not sure if that's possible to get a good fox pro

I've got a FoxPro Crossfire and a buddy has the Primos Alpha Dog.

The sounds on the FoxPro are better and the FoxPro is louder. The Alpha Dog works don't get me wrong, we shot two dogs last weekend with it, but I think FoxPro is a better product.

I have a Primos. I had two Foxpros before that, not the high dollar ones. If I were going to buy one today, it would be a Primos. I like the remote better, and the ability to program a sequence of calls. Much cheaper too.

I like my Primos Alpha Dogg over my brother's Foxpro. More features and better remote range.

The Fusion is in that price range. The Shockwave is only slightly more and you could probably find a used one for the price you want to spend.
For the other poster who commented on creating a sound series you can also do this with the Foxpro.
One of the things I really like about the Foxpro is the TX1000 remote and how I can categorize my sounds under menus and not have to cycle through all the sounds to find the one I want.
