 using a harris Bi-Pod....which stud to use???

Ok, really stupid question here. On the stocks which have two front swivel studs, which one do you attach the bi-pod to, front or back??? I was thinking the front, leaving the back for a sling???

I put the bipod up front if I'm going to use a sling.
Otherwise, I much prefer to put the bipod on the rear stud. It seems to work out a lot better for me there.
I have seen rifles with a third stud just ahead of the floorplate. I'd like to try that out some time, I bet it's nice.

I was thinking the front, leaving the back for a sling??? Correct. Also, the wider the platform you can get, the finer the adjustments you can make. So the bipod goes on the front stud even if there is no sling attached. The front stud is farther from the rear bag, under the butt of the rifle.
