Looking for some work on a Glock 22 Gen 4 -smooth up the trigger(maybe lighten) -reduce pretravel if possible -install stainless guide rod -general smoothing of overall operation
Not looking to do it myself....I know it can be done but I want someone with experience.

Trying myself to attend a course, but did meet a Glock smith at the Show last weekend. I had similar questions for him. Will look for his info, but he sets up at FTW, Market Hall, and Big Town Shows.

Just shoot it a lot, it will smooth out. Friend of mine is running a all factory Gen3 17 that has a worn out trigger pull of 3.5-4lbs.

Do not use mr. graham I myself thought he knew it all until he tried to remove the trigger group from a 43. Him not knowing the process was slightly different than your typical glock he damaged the gun and told the customer he wasn't going to fix it for free.
I'm in mesquite. I've been customizing handguns for over 10 years now. Glocks were my specialty for the longest. Feel free to contact me in regards to having anything done.

None of the classes that Glock teaches, even the Advanced course, and I have been through them all, will show you how to do anything to alter the weapon. The guide rod is just a simple removal of the slide, take the rod out and put a new one one. Put slide back on. Shoot it, and if you are only going to shoot Glocks, learn how to shoot it correctly. It doesn't need any work.

Just do it yourself. You can get all the parts for about $20. Unless you're destructive enough to flatten a ball bearing with a rubber hammer, you won't mess anything up.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Hell of a way to waste some money. Not much experience is needed to do what you're wanting. Zev triggers are a great drop in solution. Since your gun is a gen 4 you can buy a stainless or tungsten drop in guide rod replacement. Your gun, do what you want.
