This many Doves here this time of year. I am still covered up in them and have been since October. Should be a great local population and hatch this year,,,I'm hoping.

Same here down south and they have been here since early last fall in great numbers. Just a lot of weed and grass seeds this year. They are at my feeders before the deer get a chance most days.

I think I saw two on the last day of duck season, but I wasn't really looking. As long as they show up during season I am good.

Cigarettes are like hamsters. Perfectly harmless til you put it in your mouth & light it on fire

Same thing here in North TX. By far the most I've seen this time of year. A few weeks ago I was in the panhandle hunting ditch chickens with plenty of snow on the ground and I couldn't believe the numbers there, too.

The dove were horrendous at our place. We fed more dove than deer once Decmber hit. They would eat every kernel.

I took my son hunting in freer on the last weekend of doe/spike season. No less than 75-100 dove around every feeder on the ranch! They can clean up the corn thrown out in a matter of minutes.
