People, if you go out pig shooting, please be careful,
You might think twice next time about wandering around in the scrub.
This pig was caught at Roy Hill Station, via Newman, Pilbara , WA
They only caught it because their dogs were going missing -
it was eating them!

The picture is from Australia from 2009. Don't recall anything about dogs going missing. It was eating a dead cow, but no indication that it killed the cow. Simply put, hogs that size aren't apt to be very good at chasing down dogs.

Lol yah that's an old story, same ol same ol heard like 30 different places where it was killed and how, Australia has some big ones for sure, I almost went on a feral hunt down there one time, like to kill feral donkeys, pigs, camels all kinds of weird stuff but I passed. Would've been cool to go down there shoot a couple 100 animals and feed the aborigines and hang out in the bush with them for a couple weeks.

If that biggo sucker could catch and eat cats, I would have let it live.

From the photo Australia is a good candidate for location. It is a Land Cruiser truck, not sold in USA and the angle of the inside rear view mirror it is right hand drive. Other place with that truck would be South Africa but they have no hogs like this one.
It is a huge hog.

Regardless of where it came from, that's a BEAST. While the story is suspect, the photo is really cool. Thanks for sharing.

looking at the title of this thread, I was getting ready to tell my story about the BBQ I was invited to when I was in the Philippines.

I went to school with a girl from Hong Kong. She said, "You round eyes always worried about being fed dog. We would never waste good dog meat on you."

That's also a forced-perspective photo, using the angle of the camera with the man farther back to make the hog look bigger.

Nevertheless, that's a big hog.
