I've heard and read more Taurus ex-owners say "never again" than Smith & Wesson owners.

I have a Taurus Model 44SS6. Trigger is decent, accuracy is decent and I've had no timing or other issues. Other than I need to get a separate gun belt and holster as it will pull my pants down.

It's true that some Taurus revolver's have had timing issues. My Raging Bull has always functioned flawless, but the Tracker 22lr that I have had timing issues. I just took it to a gunsmith friend of mine and had him fix the problem. It runs perfect now.

Most Ex-Taurus owners are from the lack of customer service that Taurus has. It's faster and easier to just have a local gunsmith fix a problem with a Taurus than dealing with their customer service dept. I've had just as many problems from S&W,Colt,Ruger firearms, they just have better customer service departments.
Lifetime warranties are only as good as the service that the company gives you,and with Taurus,it's easier to just fix it yourself.
