Anyone hearing any fur price ranges? Mainly fox and cats in west Texas areas.

Markets down about 60% from last year. This year I'm paying around $5 for Greys and anywhere from 10-50 for cats. Here's a link to the rest of my route for the year http://www.ttfha.com/greg-novak-2015-2016-fur-route/

Around $1, It's pretty bad fellas, they just wrapped up another international auction this morning in canada and it was horrible, granted this is somewhat of a feeler auction for wild fur and more catered to ranch goods but nearly zero clearance for most all species and section of wild fur except for the heavy western coyotes. Extremely low ranch mink and fox prices on what did sell, just not good and most likely will be this way for 3-5 years. Over a million unsold coon pelts from last year and tons of fur in storage around the country so whenever the price of oil raises up to about $80 a barrel then Russia will have somewhat of a purchasing power to buy commodity style goods the price of fur will rise but the market will be flooded as soon as the price raises to an exceptable level, pretty much how the fur market works in a nutshell there

Some of the better cat auctions are going on this week and some of the best cats in the country are selling for 2-300$. Three years ago those were $2000 cats, id say yes it does suck. Most of our commercial grade fur won't even move at international auctions, what can you do
