When hunting in South Africa, most Africans I talked to think it is the best tasting African game. I have tried a lot of game and in my opinion it's one of the best. Right up there with oryx.

Same here, we ate Eland tenderloin of an of crusty bull and it was very good.
Kudu is the best thing I ever ate.

It better be good. That's a lot of meat to feed to the dogs.

I'm not a liver eater, but even the liver is good.

Is the hunt stateside or Africa? Eland is very good. Only thing I've had better is kudu.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

I was give a small amount from an injured Eland bull that was killed near Uvalde a few years back. It was incredible.
