Up late sick as a dog, scrolling through my photos and had to sorta laugh at these. Seems most things I shoot with the .22-250 just pops!

Graphic pig carnage below...

His skull was mush, even his eyes bugged out like grapes. Welp, there went that DIY euro...

Exhibit 2...

Neither one of these took a single step.

Love the .22-250. I had the chance to shoot at 400 yards a few weeks ago, and I was surprised how tight it still grouped. It's a cool round!

As far as the signature photo... Texaslefty is correct. I wanted to switch to a picture that shows my 30-30. I posted in the OT forum that my grandfather passed away last week, and it was his rifle before it was mine. The weather was so poor when I shot my largest buck I didn't get any decent photos with him and the rifle... so I figured showcasing a smaller buck that does have the rifle in the pic is okay.

Nice job on the pigs. The 22-250 is one of my favorite rounds to shoot and reload for.

Great pics, I hope you get to feeling better. I had some kind of bug the first of last week and was dog sick for two days.
By the way

I think it would be a little hard to take any steps after getting hammered like that, good shooting up

Deftsound, all I see is a little black X frown

Mr. Clean, it's pretty good attractant! Insights Hog Trap. I have skittish pigs, they are wary of me trying to give them anything but beer soaked corn or corn with that sort of sweet syrup type bait on it. Of all the syrup attractants, I'd say that Hog Trap seemed to be their favorite.. but it could be coincidental.

I have an old bath tub that I sour corn in. Throw in the corn and fill it with water and (always keep it with enough water to cover the corn so it doesn't start to mold.) When I get ready to hunt I take a couple shovels full and bury it where I'm going to hunt. Then I put a game cam up to check activity around the spot. I keep the spot baited until they are everyday visitor and I can time them just right. We trap quite a few the same way. I think we're up to 28 in the last 2 weeks in traps.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
