Here we go. Starting the first weekend in Feb and run till it gets to hot, usually sometime in June. We will be hunting on 750+ acres of mostly Sabine River bottom in Panola Co., just outside of Carthage. We are currently running 9 feeders and will be adding 2 more, along with putting out some pig pipes. Stands will consist of box blinds, 2 man ladder stands and some ground blinds made out of pallets. Hunts will start on Fri afternoons/evenings and run thru noon that Sun. Being that I'm an avid bow hunter, a lot of stands are set up for bow, but any weapon can be used. There are no limits on hogs or their size. Also included are all and any varmints and we have plenty of yotes and bobcats you can call in. With almost a mile of river frontage, fishing is also included. Kids 16 and under are FREE with a paying adult. We don't provide lodging or meals, but camping on site is allowed, which is primitive, no water or electric. We do have a hanging pole where you can skin and quarter your hog. You may bring a ATV or UTV, but it may only be used to get to and from a stand. We had a very good acorn crop this year and we have the hogs. I've been seeing hog sign where we normally don't have hogs. Cost for this hunt is $150 per gun and this is for the entire hunt, not per day. Non hunting guest are allowed at no cost. With most of the land in floodplain, hunts could be canceled with little or no notice due to flooding. If we cancel a hunt, we will either reschedule another weekend or refund the deposit. This is looking to be a great year to kill some hogs.

I have Feb 26-28 and March 11-13, 18-20, all of April, and all of May still open pending deposits on all other weekends. When the hogs came in and rooted up hog camp, it's looking to be a good year!!!
Also, a group of 4 or more will get the whole place to themselves. I also know, trying to collect deposits for a large group can be a pain. But a deposit for 4 will secure that spot and you can add guns later. And they can just pay in full upon arrival.

Feb and March is booked pending deposits. April and May are still open.

I have 2 or 3 spots open for March 18-20.
We probably kill more hogs in March than any other Month.

All weekends in Feb and March are filled. Just about all deposits are in. All of April and May are open. April would be just as good as March, but haven't done a lot of hunts during this time because it's right in the middle of turkey season and we like to go on some turkey hunts, so we don't push April very hard. Then May, it's starting to really warm up and most people don't like to hunt when it's hot, so we don't do a lot of hunts in May, but the hogs will still be there and in daylight hours.

Have one weekend in Feb open up. Feb 26-28!!! Waiting on one more deposit for March and I still have the first 3 weekends in April open. Just picked up another piece of property and my brother said it is LOADED with hogs. Don't have any stands set up on it at the moment, but it will be great place to spot and stalk for a couple of guns.

Feb is full. March 25-27 is now open. The guy that booked it never sent a deposit nor have I heard from him in a while. Then I have April 15-17 and 2 or 3 spots for April 22-24.
