Maybe yall can help me help a friend...
The father of a buddy of mine that I actually hunted with a couple weeks back is coming down to Texas to do a helicopter hunt in late February. He has 1 day open (Feb 28) and asked if there were any good hog hunts or exotics that he might be able to drive and do in 1-day.
My thoughts were a night-vision hog hunt, or maybe some sort of exotic. Needs to be somewhere in the "South of Dallas" area, as that's where his heli hunt is.
Thoughts?

The Wendy Lou near stephensville is a heck of a ranch. Plenty of trophy game and near Dallas.

Rocky Ridge Outfitters just outside Glenn Rose. We saw elk, aoudad, sheep, wildebeest, fallow, axis, oryx and blackbuck.
