Went bird hunting Saturday and 3 of limited out in 2 1/2 hour's. I must have jumped 20 cottontails and didn't shoot a one, gonna chase them a little when I don't have a dog with me. haven't had rabbit in many years.


Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Been years since I've had jackrabbit. From what I remember, it's not much different than cottontail but like Navasota said, better cook it low and slow.

When I first saw the title, I thought this was about some salt water fishing!
