Looking at Bond derringers... What kind of kick do 45 Colt and .410 have in a small handgun like that? What's it comparable to?
9x19mm--Anything bigger is statistically insignificant.

I have no shooting experience with the Bond derringer but offer this based on seeing and handling one. There is probably a good reason the gun is basically the same size as a compact 9mm/45 acp AND as heavy as a brick.

The BA derringer is a bad mammerjammer in 45 or 410. Its plenty manageable but you know you shot something. I carried one for nearly a year but its just too heavy to carry and only have two rounds available.
