I was recently at the bow shop i go to whenever i need to tune my bow or buy a few new things for it and i noticed a few things i would like an opinion on before shelling out the money to get. The first was a light that could be mounted on the bow for hunting something like exotics at night. Have any of yall done this or heard about it? Is it worth a possible investment? My second question is a stand question. I have been intrigued by the Ghost Blind for a while and saw that they have begun carrying them at this shop. Are they actually worth the money or a gimmick for the passing sucker??? I have heard good reviews on them, but still am a bit skeptical. Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, light on bow equals shooting a bunch of pugs at night.
Not sure what you mean by gimmick on popup blind.

I've got two mini sniper hawg lights. Pigs quiver at the mere mention of Mini Sniper lights.

what i mean by gimmick in regards to the blind is that they almost seem too good to be true in how they are advertised...i am wondering if anyone has used them and found them to be worth the money and think they are a good blind or would something more traditional like a popup blind be better???

I have a ghostblind and have used it now for about 2 years. It works great. Only draw back i have with it is if you want to sit in an average size chair behind it you stick up above the top but a little tripod chair works perfectly. I have shot does, pigs, and turkeys using mine. Just dont let it get wet. Its like a cardboard material and does get soft if it gets wet.

I bought a rail that screws in between your bow and stabilizer and I have a wicked hunting light that has a pictany rail mount I use. The light I have shot pigs out to 120yrds with my rifle with it mounted on my scope so 40 yards on a bow ain't nothing.

got a wicked hunting lights one with the green led light in it. it screws in where my stabilizer goes in my bow and doesnt seem to really change the weight of my bow at all. Now, i need to get out an give it a try and get hunting. I do have one question in that is the green light the best one for me to have, or would a different color do better? they offer it in white and infra-red as well. Would the red be a better one to buy? i am planning on hunting axis and hogs. Maybe a ghost blind will be my next investment.

Have seen some hogs and whitetails spook from red, green and white lights. I think of the 3 green I can see better with than red and if brought down on them seems to not spook that many. Infra-red you will not be able to see, red LED or lens works but I cannot see with my vision red as well as green.

Heres a video of a pig I shot with my bowlite.. love having it around on dark nights... it has two settings low/high also and changes over with the pressure switch... as far as the blind if you don't have trees use tripods.. I hate hunting on the ground fast forward to 1:45
