We see them almost every day and regularly very close to the house.

Had a pack of coyotes howling night before last within 100 yards of the house.

Yesterday morning I saw two 10 yards from the back of the shop. Got a shot at one of them. Surprisingly I saw another one around 100 yards farther out two hours later but didn't get to the rifle in time.

This morning we saw one in the front field with the cows and another one almost in the yard a minute ago. Gone before I got the rifle loaded. I know they must be smelling the pizz hound. We keep a close eye on her.

See them day and night on the game cams around the property

I either need to buy a varmint call or have someone over that has one.

If the hogs were more predictable I would invite people out to hunt them.

Had my chance last night at 12:30. Motion alarm on the feeder went off ringing the bell in the house, Got up, eased the garage door open, ear protection on, safety off.....sent the round down the pipe. Gun sighted in at 200, shooting at 250 my ballistic calculator said 2.6" hold over. Didn't compensate for wind which was about 5mph out of the north. I was able to see dark shapes in the hog lights under the feeder. Rock steady rest. Found a white one in the group that gave me the best contrast, selected the dimist cross hair illumination and let fly. Went out in the Mule(new lights are awesome) but couldn't find him. Will pull the camera card in a little while to see if it shows anything.

Trapping may be more efficient.

I have some snare traps, is that what your talking about........yotes have a couple of crossings under the fence near the shop.

Pigs...... A buddy of mine wants me to build a trap around the feeder.

The gals at the feeder last night were plus size models. The white hog is the one I shot and I'm guessing the 50 buzzards I see in the next door pasture are picking its bones clean.

Beautiful place you have there....have thermal and varmint call and will travel if you want some help! I'd love to come help clean them out if you're close to DFW, seriously.

Four yotes and counting this morning. Killed one and shot at the 4th. These are just the ones I see from my living room when I get up for coffee. Got to be tons more on the property.
