What would you guys consider to be a fair price on a 20 gauge Beretta 3901 Citizen, 26" barrel, 13.5" LOP. Made in Italy, owner claims less than 500 shells...

He is asking $650, but has had it for sale for over a month. I think that is too high, as the 3901 Citizen was that or less new. I possibly offended him with my offer, but he hasn't had any takers and I thought my offer was reasonable...maybe on the low end, but at least enough to start negotiations.

looks like 4-600 on the auction sites. Saw a couple ended auctions that went for $400

That's what I saw too... so that is what I offered. He told me he would keep it for that price. I get the impression that he really doesn't want to sell it.
