Overall it was a tough hunt but a fun weekend with my daughter even through it ended unsuccessfully for us. Eight kids made the hunt but only 1 had harvested anything when we left on Monday - a pair of Aoudads of 24" and 30".

She drew a compartment which had limited vehicle access but we covered most of the canyons by foot on Saturday and Sunday. Saw plenty of animals just none of the target species. I'm usually pretty good a spotting stuff as we must have seen 20 WT does, 3 good WT bucks, couple of Oryx and a Elk so I'm not sure if we just didn't cross paths with the Aoudad or I missed seeing them completely.

Seemed the blackbuck knew there was a no hunting area was around the buildings as we would see 10-15 every morning and evening when checking in/out at the office.

Would like to thank Joe (park manager) and Steven for hosting us

Still picking cactus out of my hands and legs smile

Thanks for the detailed report! I'd love to hunt those canyons sometime...
I must add that if you got to spend time with your daughter then your hunt ended successfully, yes, would have been better had she harvested one but those memories will stay with you both.
Hope you've found and picked all those thorns by now grin
