They have sucked all season...I did get a report that my buddy had seen more ducks on tanks yesterday than he had all season so maybe this weather is going to let us finish strong????

Hunted a couple spots near Clarksville last weekend and beginning of this week. Was not what we were hoping to put it mildly, drove around between there and Paris and saw next to no birds in numbers. Few scattered here and there on tanks, mostly divers

Same report. Some birds showed up on tanks Tuesday. But very few.

Few gaddies, primarily divers.

No large numbers stacking up in normal places. This year may be a bust.

I spent the entire day driving around Delta county yesterday. Delta county is just south of Paris. I could count on one hand the amount of ducks I saw.

I've hunted in that area every weekend except last weekend this season. I haven't seen many birds. We've shot one gadwall and five or so ring necks. Most of the time we don't even see birds flying but we have heard some neighbors fire off some shots, but not many. Seems to be a pretty awful year up there.

I've got several spots in Paris and it's been pretty horrible with the exception of a couple hunts. By far the worst season I've seen in this area in many years.

3rd year on my place N of Honey Grove and it has been unbelievably bad. Last Saturday heard 4 shots for the entire morning. Normally I can identify 5-6 different groups of hunters who are all shooting throughout the morning.

I'm in the same area and this has been the worst year since I bought my place in 2006. Not even seeing birds passing overhead...

Fannin County has gone south in a hurry. I don't lease any property in Fannin anymore cause it over priced and there are no ducks.

I saw a bunch of Canadians in that pecan grove just north of the RR and to the east.

Man I would love to be able have access to that place just for a chance at a couple geese.

It ain't easy being me.

Geese are plentiful in all of North East Texas this year. Every hunt I've been on I have killed at least 1

That takes some of the sting away from my season, then. This was my first year on a lease in Honey Grove (first lease ever, actually) and I'm having the same experience. Hear some shots from neighboring leases, but not a lot. We don't see birds passing overhead or even on tanks in the area when we are leaving. It's been frustrating but at least I'm not the only one, I guess.

Anybody hunt Paris or Honey Grove today? I heard a lot of shooting from five minutes before legal until around 8:15. I saw zero birds all morning.

Me too...never saw a duck...I did hear more shots this morning that I'd heard all season.
