I'm super curious because they are just enough cheaper than either the Bobro and Larue, which apparently these 2 are the measuring stick for a qd that can return to zero.

I wouldn't hesitate. MI is first rate stuff, I use their BUIS under my GG&G QD mounts, which btw, looks just like the MI mount and costs 2x.
