Here we go.
The hunt is set for March 4 5 6. I intend to leave on the evening of March 2 and driving to Dallas. I will get some sleep and drive out the rest Wednesday, check in and relax. I will be taking my camera and binoculars to Squaw Creek National wildlife refuge. I will spend a better part of the day checking it out, relaxing, checking out the waterfowl museum ect. Hunting begins Friday long before daylight and ends after dark. Repeat Saturday and Sunday. Sleep Sunday night, leave the hotel at 0500 and drive it all out on Monday. We are staying in one of the very hunter friendly hotels in Mound City. The owner of the last hotel told me not to leave my bitch out in the cold and invited her into the lobby. Macdonalds is decorated with hunting memorabilia! The town survives by hunters coming to hunt these geese. You can buy your license at the gas station even.
The cost is $200 per man per day. A 50 % deposit is required and very soon. I am not getting in the money end of this so it will have to go to outfitter. His information is at the below.

The group could be larger than 7 people. If it gets that large we will have to cut people or push it up to 14 people and the group will split in to 2 groups hunting different fields. I would not delay sending the deposit. The first 8 deposits are the people that go and mine is one of those so lower that number to 7. If you send in and you are number 9, then we need an additional 7 people to start an additional group. I donít intend to sound brutal but I have put many of these together. There are thems that are serious and thems that are tire kickers. You never know who is which until it comes time to pay, then it becomes quite clear 
If you are a serious buyer then I will add you to the group list we have now.
I wish to keep the responses via email to a minimum. I have posted links to get you started on research for this trip. If you have a question text 713 530 9182.
Letís get this out there right now. This is the Spring snow goose migration. This is not sitting in a feeding field. We are pulling geese out of a massive bio-mass migration. We can zero or hero and any little thing can affect the amount of geese we get to shoot at. Last time we got blasted by a snow storm and it pushed the birds back south to Arkansas. The only thing that can be promised on this trip is you will pay your money to take your chances at killing a massive amount of geese. You could pay the same amount of money and kill none one single goose. Appreciate the trip for what it is, for the history of the area, hunting new territory, sharing a common interest with other men that love the sport and all will be fine. If you kill birds then consider yourself a killer. If you donít kill birds then consider yourself a bird watcher.
