I have recently gotten into coyote hunting. I have shot a few but my decoy isn't any good. I called one in yesterday but as soon I as I stopped the call to get him looking around he stopped and walked back and would not come back. I didn't use a decoy then but what kind of decoy do y'all use and do you like it?

I use an old piece of tent pole with a turkey feather tied to a string. Works better than my mojo critter and its a lot cheaper. My call is also wrapped up in old stuffed animal fur to help out as well.

I use the feather on an arrow shaft too. Can't say that I've ever seen it make a difference for certain but I don't think it hurts anything so I use it.

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf
