Finally after years of no quail in New Mexico we are seeing some good coveys. I went out behind my house last night after work to run the dog and ran into 3 real good coveys of gambels.......I couldn't shoot to save my life yesterday but we still had fun.

Happy looking dog.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

I use to hunt over in eastern NM and quail numbers were crazy high. Use to see so many blues it looked like the ground was moving.
