was the remy 788 ever offered in a left hand model? saw an ad, left bolt but loads from right, something about the pic doesn't look correct.

A left-handed version was produced in .308 and 6mm Remington calibers. The Carbine version with an 18.5-inch (47 cm) barrel was produced in .308 Winchester, 7mm-08, and .243. The stock was revised in 1980 being the only significant change throughout the production history.
