that I take her to the Dallas Safari Club Expo on a date a couple of weeks ago. Can you believe the nerve? Insisting that I take her to the Dallas Safari Club Expo? Well once we got there we were walking around and she then saw a HG that would be perfect for me to carry around and she insisted that I look at it. So I looked at it, held it, admired it and really liked it. We went ahead and left the booth but before we left the Expo to go to dinner she....yep you got it...Insisted that we go back over to the booth that had the HG and look at it again. When she saw it in my hands again she...yep...Insisted I buy it. I mean just who does she think she is? Well, a week ago I went out and shot it out to 21 ft and it was shooting a bit left. My tendency with HGs is to shoot just a little left so although I wasn't really satisfied I figured I just needed a little more practice with it. Today we went to the range to shoot my two 6.5 CMs and after that she and I went and shot HG. She wanted to shoot the little fella but kept missing the steel plates. We were shooting at 45 ft. So then it was my turn...and I MISSED! UGH! It took a few shots to finally figure out that it is shooting high left. After this it was pretty easy to hit the steel plates. I then looked at my rear sight and it was off. There was a screw on the top and I unscrewed it hoping I would be able to adjust it but it wouldn't move a bit. So how do I adjust the rear sight? Am I going to need a vice? What else?

Here is a pic of the HG.

Thanks guys

Rear sight is in a dovetail slot. To move impact to right (you are shooting high left) use a brass punch and drift rear sight to the right (a little dab will do ya).To shoot lower, hold front sight lower in rear notch. rifle

I have that exact hg (handgun)! Loosen up that set screw on top of the sight and THEN drift it with a brass punch as suggested. I hve about 300 rounds through mine without a hiccup. I love cz's and this ine is a fine weapon.

I asked because I was searching for cz HG. Lol. I zoomed in and saw the model on the slide so I could look it up.

First thing I would do is find out what the wife did wrong that she is being so nice... on second thought ask for something else you want too!

This thread makes me miss my RAMI. It is an excellent pistol and the sights can be sorted from the correct upper responses.

The decision you need to make is to carry cocked and locked or to put the hammer down for a double action first shot. I still carry a CZ clone, and condition 1 is fine with me.

That pistol looks like something I would be seriously interested in.

My wife is the most amazing lady I have ever met and where she is concerned she's the most frugal lady I have ever met. But when it comes to me she is the most giving lady I have ever met. We have been married for a little over four years and she has always been this way. I am truly a blessed man!
