My FIL gave me three guns that belonged to his brother. Just wondering some possible values on these.

Gun #1 1903 Springfield 30.06. I've seen these sold but usually in rough condition. This one is in great condition.

Gun #2 Armalite Explorer.

Gun #3 Anschultz .22. I know he was a competition shooter and my FIL said this was his favorite

What model is the Anschutz? Did it come with any extra sights (diopiter) you might be willing to part with?

A 1903 in that condition will go for $1,000 to $1,300 maybe more with provenance "markings, history". What makes me curious is it looks like a left hand model. Is that true or did the picture transpose?

Hard to say from picture, but the 1903 looks refinished. If it's an undrilled (not drilled for a scope) shooter, I'd say it's worth at least $300. If the stock is original finish, non-arsenal rebuilt, no sanding with clear cartouches, it probably would start at $750 and go up from there.

If it's an early serial number, in the non-shooting range, then it's worth what the market bears for a wallhanger/safe queen.

Check the s/n before shooting.

that Anschutz .22 is a Precision competition grade rifle - will shoot groups measuring in the tenths of an inch, with target grade ammo (not bulk stuff) and the dual-aperature sights shown, at calibrated paper-targets. trigger adjusments by the oz. $1000 & up, depending on model, and pieces included. bottom of the forearm stock probably has a slot - so an adjustable sling can be connected;
my 4H kiddos use gun like this to shoot .1 in groups Standing, kneeling, and prone (NO rest!!!!)

You can 'really' learn to shoot a gun with a rifle like this!
