Great hunt. You can buy a double dog box that will fit into the back of you Mule. I had a friend who did it and built high seats over it.
Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Looks like fun! Love the photos! I envy you guys that don't have to plow through brush and briars for a bird.

Glad Annie is working out for you. She has the breeding to be a good one. Looks like she enjoys her work.

Bill, Appreciate the tip on the insert. This was not my rig and was a last minute hunting trip and borrowed a buddies ride. It's amazing what you can do with ratchet straps and bunji cords.

It was not. It was a trip to remember and will be back in a few weeks. I turned 40 that Sunday and shot a limit on my birthday. It was a great gift!

For you quail hunters, there was a article in the Austin paper about how plentiful the quail are this year and what great shape they were in. The article was in reference to south Texas mainly. Did you find this to be true in you area?

There are lots of birds where we were at. there was a hunt able population there last year, but it exploded this year. I also hunt north of Rotan and last year there was not a hunt able population, but this year there is a bunch of birds, but not as many as out west of San Angelo.
