Got a pleasant surprise while giving it one last chance at a spike or doe. That's one huge animal to bring back to camp and quarter by yourself.

They have been loose for several years. Think this one was born on our ranch. They quit coming to corn feeders this year unlike the last few. But they wear out our protein feeders at night.

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

The ivories are on the top about 3 inches back from the nose. They are also called the whistlers. They are not teeth. They are located where the canines would be on a dog. You can spot the ivories because they are smooth or rounded.

Good way of discribing them up

Also Don't use pliers they are soft and will scare.
