I do a bunch of scouting and haven't seen the push of birds that I was hoping with this weekends front. The last front had birds everywhere. It is typical in NTX with very little food to hold ducks for long. Just curious to what people have seen the last 4 or 5 days.

We did in oklahoma friday.
Lots of mallards and pinnies in the flooded fields.

Backroads were undrivable. I dont care what tricket out rig you had. Mucho slippery.

Beaversnipe that is what I thought was happening. Haven't found much sheetwater on fields but figured there was a ton north of me.

Yup. Had group pins land away. GWT, Readheads and few gad saved us last few weeks

It's unfortunate you've had to settle for Cans. Hopefully something better comes along soon.

Greek, I wax the bluebills. They clean as easy as a mallard that way. Unless the fat is a different color you won't tell the difference in a pot roast. I do breast some for sausage and your right they are a pain to skin but I pluck 90%.

Joey. We smashed the ring necks last weekend. Didn't see much else. This is about an hour east of you though. I don't have your number. Clayton and david do though. Give me a shout. Phill

Drove around a lot of areas NE and SE of Dallas over the weekend - did not see much besides the tanks that usually hold some birds.
