Never had an adl,are they good shooters? On sale for $359. Thinking for the price they should be pretty good. Any feed back?

Same barrel as any other 700. Just has a blind magazine. It should do just fine for you.

Yup. Do put a Timney trigger in it. It'll be easy to upgrade the stock if you ever wanted to.

I've had good luck with them. Had one in 270 that I really regret letting go bang

Been shooting 1 inch groups with mine for 16 years. I think we paid the same or maybe a little less, I love it and still hunt with it every year

The receiver alone is worth that and is a great start for a custom job. In stock form it should still serve you well.

I bought one at Dicks a few years ago, it shot an inch with factory ammo, Chad got it to .5 with his loads. Has been fun to upgrade: Timney trigger, stock, bottom metal w/ detachable mags, brake. Great shooter.

I have a 700 ADL .270 and it's a great gun. I ditched the cheap synthetic stock and got a Boyd's laminated stock. My next project for it will be a Timney trigger, but other projects keep getting in the way.

I bought an Rem 700 ADL in 243 from Walmart 3 years ago and have been messing with it ever since. I was not blessed with 1" accuracy, but after I bedded the action with epoxy and put in a Timney trigger, it's almost at 1" now. It's my "go to" deer rifle. I also had fun painting the stock a camo green.

I was in the Tyler WalMart at Loop 323 and Hiway 64 today. For $379, they have the ADL in .223 and .30-06. They may have other chamberings in back, but I can't say as there were no associates working the Sporting Goods counter.
