Will be used hunting hogs and target shooting but need something more than a red dot and be able to get quick target acquisition. Not gonna say I have a huge budget and id like to stay sub300 if possible but if a little more gets me a lot more then that's possible. Also need a mount as well and I'd like to keep that included in the budget.

Aero precision ultralight mounts 20% off at Granite Ridge outfitters code EM30MM. Great mounts.

I just got the vortex strike eagle. I really like it. 1-6X and illuminated. Also check out Burris 1-4X24 illuminated. Can't beat the Nikon AR mount and can usually find them on sale

This ^^^^
The Vortex Strike Eagle is hard to beat for a $300ish scope in a 1-6. The reticle is fine enough for smaller targets or precision as compared to a Burris MTAC.
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

If it was Black Friday, I'd say SWFA SS 1-4 but it's now $399 VS $299.

For the zillionth time: MTAC 1-4.
How many times will this same question be asked??
