While I have it completely disassembled, once I get my barreled action back from the gunsmith (getting it cut down) I'm going to paint the action and barrel. This is the stock its going into. Black with grey webbing, and some heavy metallic silver webbing.

It's kind of that lightly textured weather resistant (idk what they call it) blackish grey right now. What color would you do if it was your rifle. Leave it the way it is isn't an option, its definitely getting paint.

Match the grey color of the webbing.

That was exactly what I was thinking. I just wanted somebody else to say it before I did. I'm still open to suggestions however.

Another good option. A little more subdued.

At this point, the only color I have completely ruled out is silver.

Next time I paint something I may go to English Color and have them make my paint. Then I'll use my air brush to apply it.

Rustoleum is good paint but their rattle can nozzles are terrible. I will never buy any more of it. Krylon is better paint and nozzles, but is less available. Plus the colors never match perfectly anyways. Figured if I was going cheap and painting instead of Cerakote I may as well buy good paint.

If you have an airbrush already, cant you just buy cerakote? You've got an oven at home to bake it on.

I'll add my vote for a dark gray. The satin black would be a close second though.

Dark gray or black. I think black would be better.

I spray lots of Cerakote. I think Sniper Grey would look really good on that.

Sniper gray would look good.

However, if that bolt you polished is going in this rifle, it will certainly look better in a black paint job.

What about the bottom metal??

I'm a black guy, but I'm old and conservative...I do think matching one of the webbing colors would be cool
Who is going to do it for you or DIY?
