I pulled the shot slightly, the blind I was in had a weird elevated rifle perch and was not comfortable to shoot in. But that will be fixed with a higher chair lol.

She ran about 15 yards and was down. One more pistol round to the ear and she was done.

I wish I would have done a broadside shot as she turned out to be one of the coolest looking hogs I have ever shot. She was black with gray and white hairs mixed in around the face and bottom of the sides. The rest of her hair was jet black with a red base color. Was a pretty bad [censored] looking hog.

The neck shot I took blew out her whole neck.

Just curious, why didn't you try a frontal shot while the hog was still. No complaint - just curious.

I had another shooter with me and he was aiming at the second hog on the right, and we had to wait for both hogs to be clear.

On a still night, the reflectivity off the muzzle smoke can really hamper that second shot opportunity with a digital scope.

Got 'er done though...
