This is the year where I stop buying stuff that I don't really need and save for the big hunt. This is going to be tough, so wish me luck. Also, I'd appreciate it if you all stopped posting pictures of really nice guns, cool gadgets, night vision gear and high end optics. In short, please try to be boring and dull.  I've never seen a pretty rifle that I didn't want to buy, so this should be interesting.

Yea, let me know how that works out for you. Today I paid for my can then turned around and bought more stuff for another build! There has to be a cure or something for this addition.

I tell you what had helped me. I've been saving up for the hunt this weekend and had to quit going on slickguns about a month ago to save money. Now I am having to quit checking my emails from. Each year I say I'm going to save my hunting budget for a couple years and finally take the trip to the dark continent that I've been dreaming of. What actually happens each year is I normally take a week off in late May to hunt some exotics and usually wind up buying another rifle or two during the year!! Good Luck with your struggle! Baker

I suffer the same disease. Every year, I swear I'm going to book a Pronghorn hunt. This year, I already paid for my deer lease, so I can go ahead and buy more toys....

Well, I just bought a shotgun. I guess that I'll have to sell something to stay even. Wow, I didn't even make it a month. I'm just as bad. Spent last week putting a hunt together for May and I'm thinking about using my points for an Elk tag in Colorado. I'm never going to make it to Africa at this rate!
