How far should you set your camera from the feeder? So you can capture a good photo of the deer feeding.

Depends on the camera itself. All are different it seems. Set it up and test it in the yard with a dog or just walk in front of it. I like 20' give or take a bit.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

As, stxranchman, said, they are all different. I have some set up at 7-10 feet at the feeders and some at 50 feet where I'm trying to catch the edge of the water at a tank.
Cabin rental in Pagosa Springs, Co. Sleeps 10, If interested please PM me.

I'd start at 20' and figure out what you like from there

We are around 30' on most cameras. Those on protein feeders are slightly closer as we try to make out fine details on antlers.

Mine are between 30 and 40 feet. Works great during the daytime but the flash peters out in the night pic at that distance.

you might check out the Moultrie panoramic camera - takes three different areas - when movement triggers it the camera lens moves to take picture - we use several of them and they pretty much cover 180 degrees
You can't fix stupid
