has anyone measured how much corn slings from an all season stand and fill per second left the ranch yesterday turned feeders back a little feeding ten seconds a day total trying to plan for a return trip to refill

I haven't measured it but I throw 8 secs a day from my 600# and feel like I go through about 300 lbs every 4 weeks. I could be wrong though. I always carry extra corn with me and top it off when I'm out there so I don't really keep that good a track of it.

It's gonna vary depending on corn kernel size, etc.
Hold a empty 5-gal bucket up over timer against barrel and run 1 cycle to measure . . .

Every feeder is going to be different. Number of running seconds will change how fast the spinner plate gets goin, you will throw more corn throwing for 4 seconds once than you will throwing 2 seconds twice. Distance that the spinner plate is from the funnel will effect how much corn flows as well as size of kernel. Hold a 5 gallon bucket over the motor and have it spin the number of seconds you typically throw and weigh the corn.

we throw 3 sec and 3 sec. no need to feed the turkeys all the corn.
small throws will keep the deer coming without wasting on other thieves
