Got a .22lr for Christmas to get rid of some swine behind my uncles house and finally was able to put the scope on one. Paired it up with a green light for night hunting. Was a lot of fun. I know a lot of people will give me a hard time for using a .22lr, however it's all about shot placement. 40 yard shot right behind the ear and pig never took
a step.

Yeah, as long as you stick to close-in shots on smaller pigs, no problem.

But, you obviously know that.

1.
2.

I'm waiting on my .22 suppressor and then I'll give mine a test run on some pigs

The little ones it works fine. I've hit bigger ones (in a trap) more than once with a .22 that didn't do the trick and I had to use my side arm.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Well i know it seems small in the picture but it was at least 120 pounds. I uploaded two more pics to get a better idea of how big he was. There is a 5 gallon bucket and a two by for in one pic and a 12 inch bone saw in the other . I also wear a size 11 boot to give a better idea of how big the pis head is in the original pic I posted. I would have taken better pictures but I was by myself. That thing was a pain to clean on the ground. But I cut out the back straps and tenderloins out and sent the rest to the processor to make sausage. I actually put some of the meat in a crock pot last night with some carrots celery and onions. Tried some out this morning and it was pretty good so I'm pleased.

Everybody knows that you can't kill a pig with a 22. Good job.

that is an awesome .22. looks like the marlin 22 I just got not too long ago. as a kid I couldn't shoot my semi auto fast enough. as a more reserved adult I love the bolt action. I haven't shot any hogs with mine, but I have a twin to it in .22mag with a bull barrel on it. I've killed a few hogs with it. and a coyote. love it.

Sweet job, great shooting with your .22. The pictures of a hog carcass don't help judge the size.

Yes I completely agree. It's all about shot placement and staying true to the limits of yourself and the gun you are using. I absolutely love this rifle! It's small and very lightweight, very accurate and doesn't spook game very much at all. Only downside is how hard it is to find good small game ammo for it. Found some CCI 36 gr at gander and baught 50$ worth. Other than that I am very pleased with this rifle so far. As far as the hogs size.....I will just have to bring the go pro next hunt and use the remote to take some better pics lol. It is a little hard to judge the size haha!
