I went into Applebee's in Weatherford yesterday and they had both the .06 and the .07 signs posted. There was never a sign there in the past.

If it's like our Applebee's it's more bar than restaurant. Might have something to do with it.

Main reason we put up the 07 sign.. due too how much alcohol we sell

They won't be the last! Many more will post. It's only the beginning! The consequences of open carry will be continual!

I don't understand why anyone would care. There are only a few kooks doing it.

I'm afraid open carry will cause many establishments to put up 30.06 signs where they weren't before.

Hate to break to the ignorant but if they make 51% or more of their sales in alcohol for on premises consumption then you cannot carry in which case they must also display the appropriate 51% signage. Applebee's is just their choice. Love the cheap beer but their food is pedestrian at best.

Like our local Applebee's, they have a bigger bar area than restaurant and unlike other dining places, they don't put a drink limit on you. They also were grandfathered in when the smoking ban hit the city bc of alcohol sales.

Applebees has the 51% sign anyways due to alcohol service, so these signs would be a moot point.

Indeed as well. I'm afraid the OC push is going to bring about the unintended consequence of business posting 30.06 signage where it wasn't posted before. When this happens (and it will) what did we really gain with The push for OC?

I find it hard to believe that Applebees gets 51% or more of their revenue from alcohol sales.
